Born in Baton Rouge, Blake is a graduate of Louisiana State University (B.S., 2005) and Mississippi College School of Law (J.D., 2008). After graduation, he clerked for the Honorable Donald W. Hebert in the 27th Judicial District Court. He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2008, and Alabama Bar in 2010. Blake is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Western and Eastern Districts of Louisiana, as well as all state courts in both Louisiana and Alabama. He is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and Baton Rouge Bar Association.

Mr. Altazan's practice areas include general civil litigation, as well as insurance litigation and coverage. Mr. Altazan also has extensive experience in handling the defense of claims against political subdivisions and public bodies, including school boards throughout the state of Louisiana.
